Five Guys Makes the Best Fast
That In N Out Burger has only 249 outlets, mostly located in the West, compared to more than 600 Five Guys stores dotted all across the country. locations entering into the 2010 fiscal year." Five Guys finished fourth in this category.
Last time Y checked, both Five Guys and In N Out Burger essentially serve burgers and fries, and little else. The contradiction here among the survey results is almost impossible to reconcile   and points out how little importance we should place on them.
I agree with U Dunno Squats, well at least the part about why McDonald's was even considered. McDonald's hamburgers are terrible. Burger King is not much better, by the way.
I guess this survey must have been concentrating on national fast food chains only. Although I have never eaten a burger from either Five Guys or In N Out Burger, I find it very difficult to believe that they are better than Crow's Burgers in Belton Texas. Yeah I know it is just a small little hamburger place with on 2 in the chain (the other in Temple TX), but their burgers are sensational. If you have been to that area in the past, but not recently, outlet moncler, I can tell you that they are comparable to The Hamburger King burgers. If you pass by there, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
I liked the burger, but I have to say that in my opinion, The Habit burgers are a tad bit better as far as flavor is concerned. I visited Five Guys for the first time and ordered the Little Bacon Cheeseburger, hold the pickles, moncler sito ufficiale, with bbq sauce. It was good, but as mentioned, I prefer that The Habit bbq bacon burger is just a bit better. the fries were pretty good, still had the skin on it, but it's no different to the average fast food visitor than say, moncler 2013, In Out. The food is good, but I believe it's a little overpriced. In Out is just as good for less money. The Habit Burger is just a little bit better than In Out. in my opinion.
I grew up in Cali, and Five Guys is vastly superior to In n Out. Five Guys has better meat quality BY FAR, and bigger burger with fresher ingredients.
When I was in San Jose last week, a friend and I literally compared In n Out with the new Five Guys there, putting burgers side by side. Five Guys is like Muhammad Ali and In n Out is like Manny Pacquiao. Both good, but In n Out looks like a child's burger next to Five Guys. AND THE FRIES. Five Guys completely kick In n Out's arse on this front.
So,sito ufficiale moncler, unless you've tried Five Guys, stop with the mindless In n Out fanboy carap and step up to a new era.
I just tried Five Guys yesterday. It was OK with toppings, but the meat had little flavor. It's texture is similar to Wendy's meat. I still prefer In N Out. Five Guys is expensive about $5.19 for a double (What they call their regular burger, the little burger is a single) for just the burger. If you really want a good burger, buy D'Artagnan's American Wagyu Beef patties from Costco. They are expensive about $130.00 for 24 patties which is about $5.41 each and cook them at home. The texture and flavor of the meat is excellent. If you have to go out, then In N Out.
Im happy they made 1. I think they have banked on the idea that you can see your food being made. You can see the real ground meat, the real cheese, the fresh buns all being prepared in front of you. Nowadays you go to Mc Donalds and they get your buns out of a drawer, Your patty comes from another drawer and the cheese, lettuce and tomato come out of a metal bin. 5 guys's prices are a bit high. yes. but look at the overall experience. it makes the experience interesting.
No matter who wins, we're still talking about a seared mound of offal collected from thousands of different cows, padded with "meat filler" (slaughterhouse floor sweepings cleansed with ammonia to prevent E. Coli poisoning), and placed onto a bun with tons of cheap condiments devised to disguise the unappetizing taste of rotten, diseased flesh contained in that "patty." Any discussion of fast food cheeseburgers should provoke a gag reflex in you. If it doesn't, watch "Food, Inc." You'll never eat another burger.
It was a good burger, nice and fresh.
But, not near as good as In N Out. In N Out makes a darn good burger and you don't even have to think about it. Nice and simple, and awesomely, awesome secret sauce. An animal style double cheeseburger at In N Out is proof of God's love for his children on earth faith is no longer required because you know it after that point.
Two things that absolutely make me livid about 5guys.
1) Ordering a simple freaking burger is way more complicated than it needs to be. Hate all the decisions you have to make for a freaking burger at 5guys. We ordered for the whole family and my nephew took my burger because he thought it was his, but I ordered the one without jalepenos, just couldn't tell until I opened mine. It would have been nice to get a warning that you need to remember the order number when you order for big families. It makes me mad have a lump in my throat right now.
2) Also, no secret sauce that I could tell. Screw that. SCREW that.
Oh yea, by far one of the best fast food burgers, white castle is up there with it but its a different burger altogether in my opinion, I would eat either any day. Remember, they are considering popular fast food burgers, not a fancy kobe beef burger at some reastaurant or a single mom and pop joint in vancouver. Whoever said they left hungry must be thinking about some other place, I really doubt a regular burger and a regular fries can be eaten all by one man alone. I'm a big guy, 240 pounds, and I can't even eat the whole "regular" bag of fries they give you and I can eat a whole large dominoes pizza on my own. The only downside to five guys is the mess eating the burger. Its impossible for it to not come apart as you try to eat it.
White castle is not very good i hate to tell ya daniel. They are greasy steamed low quality mini burgers. We call them sliders here because they are so greasy they just slide down your throat.
This survey is crazy to put McDonalds fries as the best. They are horrible. They are tiny little skinny short stick pieces with no potato in them and usually over salted, moncler donna. Of the fast food chains they have to be one of the worst. Now the best fries are Wendy's. They are thick and you can actually taste the potato and they are never over salted.
Mcdonalds probably has the worst food of all the chains. I cant think of a good burger, i have not had a good burger from a fast food place.
Halo burger used to be the best burgers and fries. They used real orida french fries and they were awesome. The burgers looked like real homemade but ive not been there in years.
Hot N Now has the best cheapest double cheese burger at 97 cents. Decent taste and it's not overly greasy like mcdonalds and burgerking who's doubles are often so greasy they absorb the wrapper.
People who like Five Guys are people who enjoy the flavor and feel of soaking, sopping grease. That's ok for many, until you get older. At 51,giubbotti moncler, my arteries can't tolerate it. They have burgers that are cooked on flat griddles, so grease has nowhere to go and it doesn't burn up. That's the problem. It's totally unnecessary for a great burger flavor.
Five Guys likes to promote themselves from within and there are no other choices for burger joints within the area that they were voted. Five Guys is overpriced, they dump all the fries on top of everything which is messy, and the burgers are not that great. They're just trying to take over everywhere and put decent long established burger places out of business (besides McD's). Five Guys is No Big Deal. The best thing is to support your local, mom and pop burger joints. Support your local economy!
Five Guys needs a better LOGO. Questions like "Is that a "moving company" or what? No suggestion that it's a eating place with good burgers until you read the FINE PRINT of "burgers and fries"
When you are surronded by other eating places, how do you compete.
I'm amazed they call this a national survey. Five Guys isn't available anywhere within about a 200 mile radius of my town and I've never even seen an In and Out. Obviously, the polling for this "so called" national survey took place in select large cities and the results are therefore tainted. There's really no such thing as a good fast food burger (Sonic comes close). The best burgers aren't served in a burger chain, they come from bars, taverns, mom and pops and places with a faded "Eats" sign out front. Try a "Little Bastard" at Fatboy's Grill in Shreveport, Louisiana. You'll realize how frivilous this whole survey is.
