Make Christmas tree shopping a family tradition
Here at the Yeiser homestead we've made Christmas tree shopping a family tradition by going to William's Tree Farm located in Rockton, Illinois. This year, just as previous years, we began our journey to our favorite Christmas tree lot, with one exception. It was 64 degrees and we were clad in sweatshirts that ended up tied around our waists and not bundled up like we were going to the Arctic Tundra with hats, nike free run, mittens, and winter parkas! This has its' advantages and disadvantages.
No matter what the weather, nike free tilbud, going to William's has been one of our many great family traditions for over 5 years. After enjoying our Thanksgiving feast we make our plans as to when we will gather at the Tree Farm to select and cut down our Christmas trees. When first arriving we check, no we run to,michael kors norge, the puppy room. We peek through the window and, not disappointing us we adore the litter, sometimes multiple litters, of tiny, squirming, squinting, blonde Golden Retrievers barely opening their eyes. We finish our ooohs and aaaaahs and move on to bigger things. We climb onto a horse drawn wagon that will take us on our treasure hunt for the perfect tree. These massive draft horses give us the feeling of a horse drawn sleigh. Disadvantage number one of it being 64 degrees, mulberry udsalg, and no snow. With using a little more imagination, this is simply overcome, and the focus is on advantage number one: being able to climb in and out of the wagon without the cumbersome winter attire. Being cold is personal preference and not an issue here.
There it is! We arrive in the section where the types of trees on our agenda are grown. Family consensus is short, soft needles in the fir species. Size varies from year to year depending on where the tree will be decorated for the season. The order was tall and skinny this year. We hop off the wagon and the thrill of walking through hundreds of pine trees with other people, mulburry tasker, dogs, and horses begins. With some of our family members being more patient than others, we all find our "perfect Christmas trees". Hopefully, someone remembered a saw.
After cutting down and dragging the trees to the road, a very organized four wheeler arrives to tag and take the trees for shaking. Our adventure does not stop here. We hitch a wagon ride back to the festivities. These include, a few rides on a zip line, a climb on a climbing wall, a run through a maze, michael kors vesker, a visit to, a camel, an emu, a donkey, goats, and of course reindeer. This brings us to advantage number two: no one is too cold to participate in these outdoor activities, however, hot chocolate and warming by the welcoming fireplace inside may be considered disadvantage number two. No matter the temperature, billige nike free, Santa Claus and the fudge is always a favorite commodity.
This wraps up the task of buying a Christmas tree and officially begins the holiday decorating process. Success. Whether (or in this case. Weather) cold, warm, mulberry pung, rain, nike danmark, sleet, snow, or sun, William's Tree Farm is sure to deliver a family tradition you will want to carry on for years to come.
